A Cozy Evening on a Cold Winters Night

On a cold winter’s night it is nice to cozy up to the fire with a soft blanket and your dog and a special someone. With all of the cold weather we have been having here at The Ornament Factory a cozy evening by the fire sounds nice. We are going to be having some even colder temperatures in the next few days. Stay warm friends!

Best Night of the Week….

There is nothing better than sitting down with the one you love and enjoying your favorite television show. Mickey and Minnie are cozy and are watching their favorite show, ‘The Wonderful World of Disney.”

I hope you all stay warm and hopefully can find sometime to relax with your loved ones. The other elves and I are have some fun planned for this week with the cold weather. We are going to have a chili cook off. Elliot the Head Elf is going to judge it. I cannot wait to taste what everyone comes up with. Another activity we have planned is to have a movie night with hot chocolate and popcorn. Jack the Elf is going to make a few different flavors of popcorn. He is on a cooking/baking kick lately. He has made some yummy treats.

We would love to hear from you! Please share with is some your favorite things to do when it is cold outside.

Stay warm friends!

For your Valentine’s Day tree you can add red lights or just leave white lights on it. For a tree skirts a red or pink blanket would look nice or if you are crafty you can make one. At the top of the tree if you can find a large red heart or cute stuffed toy. The possibilities are endless. Happy decorating!

We are still busy here at The Ornament Factory. The last sale we had was very successful! I love when the Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments find good homes where they will be loved. The other elves and I have been working on what ornaments we will put on the Valentine’s Day tree here at work. We have up our winter themed tree right now. I love the blanket we used for the tree skirt.

Back to work for me! I am excited that it is Friday and the weekend is here.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse

Two of the most beloved Disney characters, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, were made into lovable Hallmark Ornaments for all to cherish.

New Pair of Skates….

Mickey invites his sweetheart Minnie Mouse to go ice-skating, but it is Minnie’s turn to be gallant when Mickey’s skates slip out from under him. This endearing design is sculpted and painted in the classic styling of the 1920’s and 1930’s, when the beloved characters from Walt Disney’s animated films were portrayed with distinctive pie shaped eyes. New Pair of Skates was released in 1997 and was the first Hallmark Keepsake Ornament that had both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Minnie is busy stirring the cookie dough and Mickey is getting ready to put a pan of cut out cookies into the oven. Mickey has a chef hat on and it says, “Kiss the Cook.” Affection for Confections joined the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament collection in 2004.

I sure do love all of the Disney Ornaments, especially the Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse ones. One of my trees is pretty much all Disney Hallmark Ornaments.  When i look at it it just makes me happy!

We are having a great day here at The Ornament Factory and hope you all are too! We had a contest to see which one of the elves can put boxes together the fastest. Jack the Elf won that. Elliot the Head Elf is the best at packaging up the orders the fastest. That is all for now.
