How Does the Weekend Go By So Quick…..

Hey everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend! Mine went by way too quick. I feel like it was just Friday and now we are back to Monday morning. I demand a redue! I know , I know…..I’m funny. Seriously though, if you know how to make it not go as fast let me know.

I was so busy at the end of last week that by the time evening came around I was ready to go to bed early. Friday night I was in bed by 8 pm. I am usually the night owl so this was a something out of the ordinary.

Saturday…..

Saturday was a fun day. We got to get dressed up in our Halloween costumes and go to an indoor trick or treat event. They read a story, had some dancing, and games too. We trick or treated through some halls of the school that they had decorated. There was a room where you could get a snack and decorate a pumpkin. You should have seen everything they had for snacks. Everything from donuts, hot dogs, pizza, and cotton candy. It was nice for my brother, Jackson the Elf, and I to be able to spend time with our cousins, Ben and Nathan the elves. After we were done there we all tried a new Italian restaurant. I had the cheese ravioli, it was delicious! With all that excitement and fun, Jack and I both took good naps.

Sunday…..

We used Sunday to get caught up on cleaning and getting ready for the week ahead at The Ornament Factory.  Going to the grocery store is always a necessity on the weekend. Halloween candy was on sale plus I had a coupon. Now we are all ready for trick or treat next weekend in our neighborhood. We know we have a busy week ahead at work. After we were done it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy our Halloween tree filled with Hallmark Halloween ornaments.

Monday morning….

After a good nights sleep it is time to start the week.  I cannot wait to see all of the other elves and hear about what they did this weekend! I was thinking as I came to work today about putting up my Christmas tree with all  of the new 2018 Hallmark Ornaments. It will probably go up on November 1st after the Halloween tree gets taken down.

Guess I better get to work. Hope you all  have a Magnificent Monday!

The Joy of Holiday Lights!

Happy Thursday to you all! The elves and I are hard at work here at The Ornament Factory! Lots of orders going out from new 2018 Hallmark October Ornament release. Have you ordered you ordered yours yet?

As the other elves and I get ready for Halloween it got me thinking about what my favorite part of Halloween is. I feel like my favorite part of every holiday has changed as I have gotten older. For Halloween it use to be the candy, what kid does not love candy? Reese’s Cups to be exact! Then it was getting dressed up. It was fun planning what to be and if I was going to get dressed up with my friends. Now, I would say it is the Halloween lights. Putting up lights for Halloween is a newer thing to do I feel. I have always been a big fan of Christmas lights so it makes sense that I would love Halloween lights too. Driving through our neighborhood last night and seeing all the lights with some of the other elves was fun. Jackson was so excited and pointing out the different houses with lights on them.  Don’t get me wrong, I am still looking forward to the candy and dressing up for Halloween but the lights are beautiful and fun to look at.

We put up our Halloween lights this past weekend. Jackson the elf was so excited! There are ghosts flying around on the garage door and spiders crawling up the house. Finishing it off are the two cute pumpkins glowing orange on the front porch. Over at Brandon the elf’s house he has these two huge inflatables in the front yard that look amazing! It is so much fun doing all of these fun traditions, new and old, for the holidays.

Since I am on the topic of Halloween, have you gotten your Halloween ornaments yet? My tree us up and looking beautiful. It has a lot of lights on it too. I went with white and orange lights this year. I did find some really pretty purple ones. Maybe I will do those next year or on one of my Christmas trees that’s beautifully decorated with my Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments.

Here is one of my favorite Hallmark Halloween ornaments! The Master is one of the Hallmark Keepsake ornaments for your Halloween tree that we have in stock! Check out what other Hallmark Halloween ornaments we have in stock for you!

That’s all from me for now! Have a great day!
