Two dates, one truck
Fire Brigade is more than a row of red trucks. The Ornament Factory’s series guide says the line began in 2003 with Tim Bishop’s detailed study of real firefighting vehicles. The date at the start of an ornament title gives its Hallmark release year; the vehicle year names the machine being modeled.

The series opens with a 1929 Chevrolet Fire Engine as #1 in 2003. The 1929 describes the truck, while #1 records its place in the Keepsake sequence.

The early run then moves to a 1961 GMC as #4 in 2006. Later, the 1968 Chevrolet Fire Engine #23 was released in 2025. The sequence is not a chronological list of vehicle manufacture dates; it records Hallmark’s annual release order.

A practical collector’s note
For vehicle collectors, note both dates plus manufacturer and series number. Cab layout, hose storage, ladder placement and wheel design help distinguish the machines; the shared fire-engine theme is only the starting point.
