For All of Kitten Lovers, Here is Mischievous Kittens

A few weeks ago I did a blog on the Hallmark Keepsake series, Puppy Love. Just to balance it out here is the series from Hallmark Ornaments for the kitten lovers, Mischievous Kittens. The series started back in 1999 and has continued every year since.

Where it all started….

First in the Mischievous Kittens Hallmark Ornament Series is Mischievous Kittens #1. This is a hard to find ornament. This 1999 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament features a very playful kitten who seems to want a goldfish as a friend.

As the years went on….

What a super Christmas toy this little kitten’s found-Before he even touches it,
it starts to roll around! Third in the Mischievous Kittens Hallmark Ornament Series, 2001 Mischievous Kittens #3 would be a great addition to your Christmas tree.

Twas the night before Christmas, and Kitty was stirring, lapping up milk and happily purring, when, what to her mischievous eyes did appear, but Santa himself who smiled through his beard. I believe that’s my milk he said with a pat, but you’re welcome to it, you have been such a good cat. #10 in the Mischievous Kittens Hallmark Keepsake Ornament series.

The 2018 Hallmark Keepsake Mischievous Kitten#20….

Mischievous Kitten #20 from the popular Mischievous Kitten series was first released in July of 2018. This has  a playful kitten sitting in a red box adorned with white snowflakes, playing and getting tangled in the lights and garland. This is a must have to the kitten lover in your life.

The Great Debate….

I have found over the years that when to put up your Christmas tree is a big debate. Some people start decorating in early fall (like the stores do these days) and others wait until after Thanksgiving or later.

The early decorators…

I have found it interesting what people have been posting online about putting trees up already. It’s amazing to see the Christmas spirit in this group! Some of the early decorators get a head start on decorating because it takes them a long time to decorate and they have a lot to put up and out. I have several friends who have a holiday party early in December so they want to be decorated for the party so they start early.

The Wait to Decorators….

On the other hand there are people who like to wait until after a certain date or just decorate close to Christmas. It is interesting to hear why people what to decorate.

Let’s be real, there is no right or wrong answer to this great debate. It is whatever you feel is best for you. Some people would like to see the Christmas season longer and some would like it shorter. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Outside Decorating…

For outside decorating it is easier to get lights and decorations out when the weather is nicer. Just because it is up does not mean that you have to turn it on if you do not want to.

The Good News for everyone!

This good news is for everyone, the ones who want their trees up now and the ones who like to hold off. You can always order your Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments from The Ornament Factory! You can always help a friend of loved one out and order an ornament or two for them too.

I like to decorate early because I love Christmas! It is always fun to hear if other decorate early like me or not.

Back to work for now!

The Joy of Holiday Lights!

Happy Thursday to you all! The elves and I are hard at work here at The Ornament Factory! Lots of orders going out from new 2018 Hallmark October Ornament release. Have you ordered you ordered yours yet?

As the other elves and I get ready for Halloween it got me thinking about what my favorite part of Halloween is. I feel like my favorite part of every holiday has changed as I have gotten older. For Halloween it use to be the candy, what kid does not love candy? Reese’s Cups to be exact! Then it was getting dressed up. It was fun planning what to be and if I was going to get dressed up with my friends. Now, I would say it is the Halloween lights. Putting up lights for Halloween is a newer thing to do I feel. I have always been a big fan of Christmas lights so it makes sense that I would love Halloween lights too. Driving through our neighborhood last night and seeing all the lights with some of the other elves was fun. Jackson was so excited and pointing out the different houses with lights on them.  Don’t get me wrong, I am still looking forward to the candy and dressing up for Halloween but the lights are beautiful and fun to look at.

We put up our Halloween lights this past weekend. Jackson the elf was so excited! There are ghosts flying around on the garage door and spiders crawling up the house. Finishing it off are the two cute pumpkins glowing orange on the front porch. Over at Brandon the elf’s house he has these two huge inflatables in the front yard that look amazing! It is so much fun doing all of these fun traditions, new and old, for the holidays.

Since I am on the topic of Halloween, have you gotten your Halloween ornaments yet? My tree us up and looking beautiful. It has a lot of lights on it too. I went with white and orange lights this year. I did find some really pretty purple ones. Maybe I will do those next year or on one of my Christmas trees that’s beautifully decorated with my Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments.

Here is one of my favorite Hallmark Halloween ornaments! The Master is one of the Hallmark Keepsake ornaments for your Halloween tree that we have in stock! Check out what other Hallmark Halloween ornaments we have in stock for you!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles….

Who doesn’t have a happy memories of playing with or watching a loved one play with a toy that was a plane, train, or automobile? Hallmark Ornaments has beautiful ornaments to help us remember those moments.

I have many family members who love cars, that is where I get my love for them from. My uncle has a tree of just car ornaments that he puts up every year. My aunt looks forward to getting him new ones to add to his tree every year. This year is no different! The 2018 Hallmark Ornaments have several cars that will make any car lover happy.

An ornament that I know he will love is the 1968 Chevrolet Nova SS, Classic American Cars #28 .

Superheros

Jackson the elf here! One of my favorite toys these days are my superhero ones. For my birthday I received a superhero cap and superhero masks. Pretending to be a superhero is so much fun! My favorite one is Ironman! That is what I am going to dress up as for Halloween. My little brother, little Daniel the elf, is going to be the Hulk. I call him the mean green Hulk!

While working at The Ornament Factory, I remembered that Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments made some super hero ornaments so I had to look and see if they had my favorite one. We do have it! I was so excited to find Ironman!

hallmark_2008_iron_man.jpgThis is my new favorite Hallmark Ornament and it will be a wonderful addition to one of my Christmas trees. After I found Ironman I had to look for the Hulk. I was surprised at how many years Hallmark Ornaments has made a different Hulk. I picked the one I liked the best out to add to one of my Christmas trees this year. Hulk will go right near Ironman.

1997_incredible_hulk.jpg I had to show little Daniel the Hulk after I found him. He was so excited! We are going to have a lot of fun this year dressing up as these superheros for Halloween.

Speaking of Halloween, have you ordered your Hallmark Keepsake Halloween Ornaments for your tree? There is still time to order and have them in time to put them up on your Halloween tree.
